    My generation (god I sound old putting that…) grew up with the ‘Green Cross Code‘ – basically, how to cross the road safely. We had the Green Cross Code Man: What annoys me is people (and by far the majority is pensioners), who stand in the road on corners waiting to cross, meaning drivers have to swerve out to avoid crushing their bastard toes.     Litter

    I hate litter. It annoys me that people can’t be bothered to carry their rubbish sometimes 3 or 4 yards and drop it in a bin – they’d rather chuck it on my garden. Even when I was at the V Festival I used the designated rubbish areas instead (like most other festival goers) of just dropping it. Since the smoking ban came out here in the UK, there is now a veritable drift of cigarette butts outside most pubs and bars – as a reformed smoker (and there’s no worse!), this REALLY infuriates me.
