I hate winter/cold weather…

So here’s the view from my office:

I hate snow…

Snow, ice, frost, cold winds…

I hate them all. Actually, there’s not a great deal I DON’T like this time of the year – I’m just a grumpy c*nt I guess πŸ™‚

Was supposed to be down in Crawley today but the weather has apparently brought the M25 to a standstill so I’m in the office.

And bored.

And hungry.

And alone.

So, once the couriers have been to pickup a delivery for Ethiopia, I’m fucking off to get a large amount of food to see me through the day…that’s my plan πŸ™‚

Did you try turning it off and on again?

Found this:

Cute/nice IT guy/PC specialist will fix your computer in exchange for a gentle feel of your boobs. I’m a totally non-creepy (really) professional who will repair your hard drive, back up files, install software and peripherals, whatever, for an innocent grope. I have a lot of tech knowledge in my life and regrettably no boobs. Serious inquiries only and thanks.

I need to get some more cards done…;)

Funny old weather we’re having now – we don’t usually get snow here (well, maybe an inch or so), and as a result of the snow the other week, the riverside park looks like this:

Riverside Park, St Neots - the river's there somewhere...

Riverside Park, St Neots - the river's there somewhere...

And then we got snow again last night – walking through town I took this:

Market Square, St Neots

Market Square, St Neots

The snow on the trees looked really cool, the camera didn’t quite capture that, and it was snowing, I was cold, and the pub was mere yards away…

Bloody weather – give me summer any day.

More snow…

Had to dig the Galaxy out of a 3 foot drift before I could even set off this morning…then a leisurely 15mph crawl into work.

And here I sit – all on my own, listening to Planet Rock…ah, peace πŸ™‚

Wish I’d stayed in bed…

Snow! snow! snow!

So we got about 2″ overnight (shut up at the back) – prepare for England to grind to a standstill.

What a weekend that was…I’m kind of glad it’s over to be honest (old age creeping in? uh huh).

But I must tell about the roadkill pasta combo…

So, there I was, in the Tudor last night. Dennis’ other half brought him some dinner down – some pasta thingy with meat (Jamie Oliver can rest easy – I’ll never be a chef). While Dennis was tucking in, someone came to the bar for a drink and asked him what he was eating.

Ever helpful, I jumped in with “It’s squirrel.”

How I managed to keep a straight face while the persons face went through all kinds of emotions – disgust, curiosity, then back to disgust.

I followed it up with “Yup, I saw Ewa in the park earlier – think she ended up scraping it off the road though…”

I don’y know why people bother listening to me really – I mean, don’t they know the word ‘gullible’ isn’t in the dictionary?

I’m tired and want to go back to bed.
