    Breaking news…

Result! Well, it may be too soon to say that, but it certainly feels like it to me πŸ™‚ I’m smiling again and feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Let me explain: I gave Harriett my phone SIM card last yesterday evening, she put it in her other phone and almost straight away a text came through – I didn’t want to know what it said. Anyway, just had a call from Harriett, she told me there was another text came through during the night (about 2am – how screwy is THAT?), so Harriett rang […]

Another week in the embrace of employment*

    * TRANSLATION: 5 days until the weekend. Great weekend – Spurs picked up another win away from home at Man City meaning we’re off the bottom of the table! woohoo! Seems the weekend was just a long, long party…happy days πŸ™‚ the only thing not enjoyable right now is the weather – cold, wet and grey πŸ™ Probably not mentioned it here yet (but you know I’ll go on and on about it now…), but I’m off to Morocco in March hopefully – bunch of us are going so it should be a pretty good time – the weather there […]

    The resurgance continues

COYS! Well, seems my earlier prediction wasn’t too far off – I was wrong it seems about ‘Arry not caring too much about the UEFA cup – he put out a team that annihiliated Dinamo Zagreb last night (apparently – I was too busy getting drunk to care to be honest). At least one side of life is going well…I struck out again in the relationship stakes – the woman I was seeing turned out to be married, and I’m not going down that road again, so she’s dumped. Bollocks. I miss Lee – I’d do anything to talk to […]

    A prediction…

Just realised I’ve not mentioned football in about 10 minutes or so πŸ™‚ Seems that ‘Arry isn’t really too intrrested in the UEFA cup for Spurs – he’d rather concentrate on the League (right now I agree – we’re back to the bottom of the table after Newcastle beat Villa last night). I can see him fielding practically a reserve team against Dinam Zagreb on Thursday night, resting the key players for the trip to Manchester City on Sunday (then Carling Cup draw against Liverpool on Thursday). I can see a flaw in this strategy though – seems the whole […]

    What a week…

I’ve been ill – that’s my excuse for not blogging. But what a week…Spurs playing their hearts out against Arsenal. 4-2 down in the 98th minute and we STILL manage to grab a draw? that result is like a win for any Spurs fan. And then taking 3 points off Liverpool (once again, due to the Spurs players committment to the cause – another last minute goal). Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday – let’s get the UEFA Cup run back in control – then away to Manchester City on Sunday, with the Carling Cup on the 12th (against Liverpool), we’ve got […]

    I'm bored…

No change there eh? At least it’s a short week thanks to the Bank Holiday πŸ™‚ The Berbatov saga continues it seems – I think I speak for all Spurs supporters in saying ‘Get rid of the twat.’ Granted he’s scored some superb goals and played sublime football, but he’s disrupting the team with his sulking – Levy, swallow your pride (not all of it mind) and flog him to Barcelona. Even the arch gooner Ian Wright agrees – his article the other day started with: β€œDimitar Berbatov is probably about as welcome in the Spurs dressing room right now […]

Woohoo! πŸ˜€ I WAS planning on going to V Festival this weekend, but circumstances beyond my control (begins with ‘H’, has 8 letters, and ends in ‘arriett’) prevented this – so I’m quietly fuming. One day I’ll learn to be a proper bastard and stop listening to other people. Anyway, Friday – let’s check what’s what: Bi-weekly backup? check Pay? OK, I was paid in advance last week, so check Coffee? Thanks, I’d love one…wait, maybe I’ve had too many already 3 and a bit hours to go… *looks around* and about 30 minutes worth of work. Hmm…I could always […]
