No, not the ones who wander around with their cellphone welded to their ears, bellowing into the microphone in a self-important manner – I mean sales people.<\/p>\n
I phoned a steel stockist on Tuesday to order (surprisingly) some steel. I explained we didn’t have an account, gave him the order and asked for a proforma invoice so we could pay, and get the gear. No problem right? \ud83d\ude10<\/p>\n
So, I called back today to ask where my invoice was and got this incredibly stoopid sales monkey:<\/p>\n
Sales Monkey: “Do you have an account number?”
\nMe: “No, I explained when I placed the order we’d like to pay on proforma.”
\nSM: “So, no account then?”
\nMe: “…”
\nSM: “Do you have a delivery number?”
\nMe (dying inside): “*sigh* No…I’m waiting for an invoice so I can pay you, then you’re going to deliver…”
\n*Throws stapler at Corina who is giggling away*
\nSM: “Oh…OK…what’s your account number?”
\nMe: “I. Don’t. Have. An. Account.”
\nSM: “Well, you’ll have to pay up front then”
\nMe: “Yes, can you send me a proforma invoice please?”
\nSM: “I’ll send you a quotation and you can make a payment from that”
\nMe: “Thank you…”
\n*hangs up phone and cries*<\/p>\n
