Just been over to Rik<\/a>‘s blog (always good for an early morning skive<\/span> read). He was reminiscing about the 80s and the parody songs we had back then.<\/p>\n

\t\tThis was (and still is) my personal favourite:<\/p>\n

\t\tThe thing is – although this was in the charts some 23 years ago, I STILL <\/em>remember all the words, and will be humming\/singing this to myself – hell, I’ll serenade Corina with it too, bound to make her send me home early \ud83d\ude42 – all bloody day.<\/p>\n

\t\tAltogether now “H-o-l-d a chicken in the air, stick a deckchair up your nose…”<\/p>\n

\t\tAnd now y’all will be singing it too \ud83d\ude42 blame Rik<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\t\tAnother great show from the 80s was ‘The Young Ones’ – I remember this like it was yesterday. My mum always used to do the hoovering when this was on…at 9pm \ud83d\ude10<\/p>\n
