Thought for the day:
“Women and shoes. It’s like giving a pyromaniac a part time job at a petrol station and access to a box of matches.” The evil ‘Begbie’ squirrel (from B3ta’s QOTW archive): I’m sat in my room next to the window, overlooking the back garden and road next to our house. I’m sat here working on my thesis, now due in exactly three weeks and beginning to prey somewhat on my mind. I have been living, eating, sleeping (and possibly sh*tting) my thesis recently. As you can imagine life has been very, nay, ultra boring. To top off the fandango of […]

So, the dirty gooner scum dropped out of another tournament then eh? and how – not one shot on target against Barcelona (admittedly one of the best teams in the world), Van Persie being sent off then crying about it – hopefully he’ll get a reprimand from UEFA for calling the referee a ‘joke’ (you just can’t do that sort of thing – he’s the official FFS – see my post re’ Sian Massey). As for Wenger (gooner boss) – well, he looks like the paedo he is in that coat he wears…bet the pockets are full of sweeties for […]

Was a bit late in (only 20 minutes or so mind!) as I had a case of “can’t be bothered getting out of bed”, but soon got into the swing of things. I was caught up in my work when Corina suddenly said “The clock’s stopped!” and indeed it had, at 8.45 (I’m not a clock watcher so I hadn’t noticed). Thought I may as well change the battery in it so took it off the wall, turned it over and there’re 4 batteries in it (world time zones etc.) which confused me initially – then I just took the […]

Got myself down to London quite early – wearing my earphones and ‘Spurs’ hat to keep the earpieces in (honest!) And so, I REALLY thought the scum where playing away…but no, I had 20 odd gooners glaring at my hat (Fuck it – I’m proud to be a Yid) for the whole journey…I was just staring at one of ’em who was the double for James May… Anyway… Lovely few hours going round the National Gallery again – the place is amazing! 🙂 honestly, I walk away from there, having seen art in the raw, and I feel like crying…and […]

As such, here’s my week in a nutshell: Monday: Got back from ‘oop north – had the day off so parked up then went and got spannered (in my defence, it’s a long drive and it must have dehydrated me – I just chose alcohol to rehydrate). Bri paid up his rent so I chucked a few quid in the ticket machine – result! £300 winner to be cashed tomorrow… Tuesday: After my first night back in my bed, my body just refused to wake up – finally got up around1ish, by the time I’d had a bath it was […]

Seeing Dennis, Wendy, Andy and ‘secret squirrel’ was great 🙂 Yeah, ok, there were more – but I’m shit with names, but they all together made it a weekend to remember… And now I have to come down and goto work tomorrow… I’m so looking forward to my bed and not a mattress on a floor…and I’ve missed Gif 🙂

I’m finishing at 11 (20 odd minutes), then off on my ‘secret squirrel’ most excellent weekend adventure 🙂 See y’all Monday(ish) unless I get trollied (pffft) and make a post from my phone…pictures WILL be taken and posted. Have a great weekend!

I’m waiting at home for my boiler to have it’s annual service – I’m supposed to have a visit booked between 7.30am and noon (I asked for the earliest slot if possible). So, I’m drinking gallons of tea, done some housework (I can see my desktop!), I even had a shave – that’s how bored I am… On the bright side, when cleaning my desk, I found 6 USB sticks I thought I’d lost (I’m SUCH a geek…), and my old Nokia N97 (knew it was on here somewhere). I’m undecided whether to keep it as an emergency phone or […]
