Right, first REAL post of the year…

It was FA Cup weekend, and that means every bloke is glued to the TV – the FA Cup never fails to bring some ‘giant killers’ (lower leagues beating the higher leagues etc.). This weekend was no exception… Arsenal lucky to win a draw against Leeds (rematch at Elland Road will bring some money to Leeds, and I wouldn’t like to play up there against 38,000 braying Yorskshire men – c’mon Leeds! 🙂 ) Spurs took out Charlton 3-0 to earn a 4th round place away to Fulham – I’m not worried about that though ;), Chelski won 7-0 against […]

    Yid army!

Woop, woop! A 3-1 win against Fulham sees us into the semi finals of the FA Cup (it’s not a home tie though – apparently the semis are being played at Wembley…), goals from Bentley (his first touch on as a sub), Pavyluchenko, and Gudjohnsen canceled out the first half goal from Zamora (an ex-Spurs player). In other results, Villa drew against Sunderland, and Everton beat Man City 0-2 – so all in all a good night for the Yids 🙂

    Mid week football

Tonight Spurs host Fulham in the FA Cup quarter final replay…the wineer plays Portsmouth in the semi final (with the added bonus of a home draw) – woop, woop! Also tonight, Aston Villa play Sunderland and Man City play Everton – to give us a bit of breathing space in 4th place I’d like to see Sunderland and Everton get all the points… Oh, and at some point yesterday I broke 68000 hits 🙂 Yesterday I got fed up with the ancient mobile I was loaned while my N97 was in for repair so I bought a backup phone – […]

    Yid army!

What a game! What a result! It was touch and go for a hat-trick (whether that be an own goal hat-trick, or a Pavlyuchenko hat-trick…) Great game though – we owned it from the kick off 🙂 totally deserved 4-0 win – fully expected Pav to get the hat-trick with 4 minutes remaining… And so I give you: Roman Pavlyuchenko

Did I tell you the joke about the…

Wait, that’s not for a mainstream audience. Well, Spurs eventually got a draw yesterday, meaning we take Bolton back to the Lane for a reply. And what a dire game it was – Spurs didn’t seem to have even turned up in the first half – there was 5 minutes (after we’d conceded the goal), that we seemed to start playing…then everyone just went to sleep until the second half. Good ol’ Defoe equalised, then we hit the bar a couple of times before getting a penalty awarded to us. Now, all Spurs fans will know – since Keane was […]

    Just a quickie (oo-er)

So, met up with my mate Gooner earlier for some snooker. Now, we used to play quite regularly, but the last couple of years it’s been sporadic – today was the first time I’ve played in about 9 months, so I was expecting to get my arse kicked… But wait…4-0 up and looking good – finally won 7-2 🙂 oh yes, a 3 hour snooker marathon…only thing is though, both of us got parking tickets ‘cos our tickets expired 😐 Spurs ended up drawing to Leeds in the FA Cup – return trip to Elland Road for us then…that last […]

    Fourth round…

Spurs play Leeds tomorrow at 5.15 in the FA Cup 4th round – this is the Leeds that knocked Man Utd out last round, and the Spurs that are playing random football – great win one week, dropping points where we should be getting all 3 the next… Hopefully Lennon will be back pretty soon – his speed is dangerous to defences. After a terrible result at Anfield mid week, Spurs need a convincing win to get the spirits back up so we can carry on going for that champions League spot… Now I’ve bored you all with the football […]

    Happy Monday everyone!

There, thought I’d brighten up everyone’s week with a happy greeting… Now, down to the real stuff – I HATE MONDAYS! I’m not so bad as I once was, but I hate the feeling when the weekend is finished and a whole week looms ahead – bleah. Had a very quiet weekend myself, ended up knocking myself out on Friday…what happened was I finished work, did a load of running around, then collapsed on my couch. It was when I decided to get a move on and do something that I jumped up, ran into the kitchen, and the next […]
