Paul's inane ramblings

Back in February, I mentioned how one of my work colleagues had this weird envelope fetish. And lo, what did I come across today while surfing: Of course, I felt it was my duty to give this to Corina her 😀

Well, just a quick update: It’s 7.27am on Saturday and I’m out of bed 😐 how weird is that? I’ve already been on the phone to my boss and dealt with some emails…I think I’m coming down with summat here. Not too much to add right now other than I added a link to the ‘I am bored‘ website (see left), and COYS for the home game against Reading tomorrow…

Wembley was superb, as you approach the stadium and see the arch looming, it’s is breathtaking. I took a lot of pictures and will upload them when I get around to it – to be honest, this morning is my first day at work this week (I was so hungover yesterday I just stayed in bed…)

Did I mention it before? I’m sure I did… I’M GOING TO WEMBLEY TOMORROW! 😀 I’ll be there to see the first game at the new stadium – then back to St Neots in time for the Israel v England Euro 2008 qualifier – should be a great day. Been a while since my last post, but I was on a bit of a downer after the FA Cup replay *sigh* 🙁

What a day – Robinson scores for Spurs, we go on to win 3-1 and move up to 6th place and I got seriously drunk on cheap Guinness…I love St Patrick’s day – and apparently Blair the puppet has made St George’s day a national holiday too – roll on April 23rd. Which makes you think – The Irish have Guinness – what do we Brits have? are we all gonna spend the day drinking tea? I’m going to Wembley 🙂 – I’ll be there next Saturday for the first game in the new stadium. There’ll be plenty of pictures from there I can assure you… Anyway, since I last blogged: Spurs beat Braga at White Hart Lane 3-2 to go through to the quarter finals of the UEFA Cup, and we drew Seville (the favourites to win – we’re second favourites). And the mighty Spurs roll on… A very impressive win away from home over a Braga side that classes it’s ground as a fortress. We should have won 0-3 (at least) by half time, butBerbatov couldn’t hit the target – he certainly tried though, and worried the hell outta the Braga defence 🙂 Robbie Keane stamped his authority on the match though – opening up the scoring early in the second half, then knocking in the winner in injury time.
