I love Fridays – the fact it’s a half day, also payday…and mostly because it’s the end of the week. I’ve usually got everything tied up and so have little to do. I was just having a casual chat with a work colleague regarding the co called ‘special’ occasions that allegedly warrant card giving, when she they mentioned – completely out of the blue – that she they has an envelope fetish. Slow in fact due to the fact that the countdown has commenced – 161 hours and 40 minutes (as I type this) until the damn cast comes off (not that I’m counting mind). The boss is chirpy this week – he’s got his first order of the year – about half as much as my total thus far, AND mine are more profitable. Well, Spurs are certainly not having the form in the premiership that they’ve had so far in Europe – another away loss to Sheffield United today (we went ahead in the second minute, then ended up losing 2-1). After browsing a mobile phone forum and seeing some of the wallpapers people are creating, I decided to have a go – here’s my first attempt: Not bad huh? now all they have to do is start winning again… 9 days, 15 hours and 30 minutes (give or take a few) until this damn cast comes off…

It started badly – one of the computers (the one used to connect to the bank to pay the wages) went into a spontaneous reboot everytime the desktop appeared. I finally managed to coax it back to life – good job we got a new tower this week with the intention of replacing that particular bit of kit (it’s gonna end up at my house when I’ve finished swapping machines around).
