no, no, no – like this…ooooh
Well, what a fun day yesterday was . Shopping – I hate shopping. Actually I hate a lot of things – shopping, stupid people, waiting at a bar for a drink, shopping, fucking christmas, stupid people, women who say “you know”, women who don’t say anything (what am I – a fucking mind reader?) – to mention but a few.So last night I was having a couple of beers with a mate and we left the RAFA club to go back to the Tudor. He’s walked in the Tudor first, I was behind and got punched (if you could class […]

Well, I do – with intense passion. Fucking numbwits spending money they don’t have saying “Well, it’s christmas.” so fucking what? another day just like any other, but the shops are shut. And that’s another thing. Back when I was a kid (yes, THAT far back), the shops shut for about 4 days, so parents had to stock up on bread, turkey, bread, turkey etc. – nowadays the shops shut for ONE DAY, yet people feel they have to buy out entire shelves of food so they don’t get caught out. FUCKING MORONS! Finished work yesterday at 3.30 and was […]

The man is a god – check out his song here. Spurs left it a bit late last night – not a great idea given the hectic schedule over the holiday period, but hey, we won. Away to Newcastle on Saturday – now we’ve got the ‘away win’ monkey off our back, we should do well there. COYS!

Sigh, 9.15 and I’m already bored… Turned to the home of the BOFH for some amusement, and found a couple of items to chuckle over: this one and this one. And so the day goes on… EDIT: Lunchtime, I’ve actually done something today (unlike yesterday when I did absolutely nothing). Three and a half hours until I can go home – have another link.

Woohoo! Firstly, Spurs won their first away game this season against Manchester City, then West Ham beat Manchester United. I’d agreed to help a friend move his TV into his new flat yesterday – I had no idea it was that big though – no word of a lie, it stands about 5 foot high and about 6 foot wide. We loaded it onto his pickup and I said maybe we should put it flat against the cab to make it easier to tie down. Andy looked at me and said “No, you’re sitting in the back to hold it […]

I hate this time of year – everyone is full of (most often) fake cheer. Bleah. Been a busy couple of weeks – I was down in Bristol last week for the annual testing of MK Airlines’ aircraft jacks (great canteen on Filton airfield), then up in Manchester for My Travel’s annual testing this week (again, great canteen on Manchester airport’s maintenance area, plus an awesome pub just minutes away from the hotel (great food, huge amounts and very reasonable prices). Spurs beat Dinamo Bucharest last night 3-1 to win their group and continue their 100% record in the UEFA […]

I like the idea of being marooned on an island. I think the appeal of the TV show ‘Lost’ is just that – an island unknown and unseen to our ‘civilised’ world. OK, I’d miss computers for sure, but I’d love the fact that nobody is watching or tracking me. St Neots has far too many CCTV cameras – big brother is here and he’s real. I remember talking with a friend when I was about 9 or so, I was hypothesising about how there would be cameras in just about everything..this was back in 1977 – does this make […]
