At last France have started to play in the World Cup Finals…last night’s game against Spain was almost like watching the winners of ’98 – and that’s what they’ll need to be when they meet Brazil in the quarter finals…and now there is no more football until Friday – what am I going to do?

Well, it’s all about football now – and more specifically – the World Cup…Eriksson has named his squad (see here). I must admit, I’m very happy to see Spurs players in the squad, but I expected to see Defoe in there too – admittedly he IS on standby (and most likely Rooney won’t be going) – but I never would have picked Crouch over Defoe. Looking at the midfield though, it makes you feel confident – so much strength and speed in there – and some goalscorers there too. I can’t wait…
