Just like Rooney
Well, it’s been an interesting week to say the least…
I got a mention in the LangaList (see link on the left) which resulted in my site getting a huge 2000 or so hits in 2 or 3 days. Also – on a football note (I just know that y’all LOVE to hear me ranting on about the injustices of football on my beloved Spurs…it seems that arsenal (hereinafter referred to as scum of the earth) might be kicked out of Europe for some financial irregularity (woohoo!) I was discussing this with a mate yesterday and he actually pointed out to me that if they did get booted out of the Champions League, then Spurs would get put into it – something I hadn’t even thought about – I was just delighted that they’d lose out.
What else? oh yeah…I broke my big toe. It’s still very sore, but much better now. Unlike Rooney, I broke the distal phalanx (he broke the 5th metatarsal) so I’m not trendy. World cup fever has broken out – I’m amazed by the amount of flags flying outside people’s houses, and England haven’t even played a world cup game yet – let alone get out of the group stages (which they should, and will). The sun is shining, summer is here, and we’re a mere 6 days away from the greatest competition in the world…COME ON ENGLAND!
