Well, I wasn’t going to go out today – I was gonna stay in like I did yesterday. Then I had a couple of phone calls that made me think “Fuck it…”, so out I went.. WOOHOO! Spurs won their first group game in the UEFA cup away at Bresiktas – 0-2 . Cracking goal from Berbatov for the second too – and it was good to see Lennon, even if it was only for 10 minutes. Club Brugge vs. Bayer Leverkusen was a 1-1 draw, so Spurs top the group at the moment. Match report is here.

Well, last night was the 1st round of the town’s pool singles knockout. I won my game 3-0 so I progress to the next round. I stayed to watch the following match as I will be playing the winner in the next round – he’s very good . I actually played (and beat) him in a league match earlier this season – best of 5 frames will be different though. I had to edit this to add a tag (I’d forgotten to close the italic bit on yesterday’s rant), so I’ll have a quick blog. 3 days in a row??? am I sick or something? It’s just gone noon (I just got up – gonna be a lazy day today). I got to bed last night after celebrating a friend’s birthday with a considerable amount of alcohol, which usually means I fall straight asleep with no problem, except for the fact a car alarm started going off for 5 seconds or so…EVERY 10 SECONDS.
