    With a record (Ha!) of just 2 clean sheets from 18 starts, it seems Gomes’ is no longer the first choice goalkeeper for Spurs. Apparently ‘Arry has recalled Ben Alnwick (aged 21) from his loan spell at wherever. This makes me think – just how bad can the reserve keeper (Cesar) actually be? with Blackburn coming to the Lane on Saturday, our old ‘keeper Robinson makes his first visit back – and how he must be grinning.     A prediction…

    Just realised I’ve not mentioned football in about 10 minutes or so 🙂 Seems that ‘Arry isn’t really too intrrested in the UEFA cup for Spurs – he’d rather concentrate on the League (right now I agree – we’re back to the bottom of the table after Newcastle beat Villa last night). I can see him fielding practically a reserve team against Dinam Zagreb on Thursday night, resting the key players for the trip to Manchester City on Sunday (then Carling Cup draw against Liverpool on Thursday).     A great start to the week

    And I always though Mondays were bad… Last night I thought seeing as how Harriett’s computer was very similar to mine mobo-wise and how she needed a replacement hard drive, I’d fit a spare 20gb one in mine and put windows on it so I could just throw it in her machine next time I’m round. Great plan huh? Only the spare drive in question was spare because it was completely farked – plugged it in, switched my computer on, everything spun up, then BANG! huge noise, large glow from the processor and the heatsink welded itself to the mobo.
