I subscribe to the local Freecycle thingy – where people get rid of their junk onto someone else (pretty handy seeing as how the local rubbish tip has closed 😉 ).

Now, I’ve had a few good things – brand new bed (it’s lovely), couple of decent computer towers, chest of drawers and some other bits and pieces – I’ve also got rid of some of my junk I was too lazy to dump – load of paving slabs, some computer monitors etc. All in all, it’s a good thing.

But recently it seems to have changed – so many people wanting a laptop, large flat screen TV and the like – greedy, tight fisted fuckers – go buy them you cheapskates!

It’s also getting slightly political – someone will post asking for something, then get hammered by a moderator for not using the correct form of address in the subject line – nazi bastards.

But then you get the odd request that makes me want to reply with a joke – example: Wanted: web cam, and then she goes on to say she wants it to chat with her mum in Swaziland or somewhere…I want to reply “WAHAY! stripping for blokes eh?” but I just know I’d get my internet feelings hurt by the moderators 😉

Fuck it – I just might start doing it to see how long before I get banned 🙂
