What a farce

The Martin Jol era is over.

I’m certain there are many Spurs fans like me, who honestly feel he should have been given longer to prove himself given what he’s achieved in the last 2.5 years at Spurs (top 5 finishes and a great points average).

The way he was sacked though was terrible, Levy has every right to be ashamed of himself.

Conceding yet another injury time goal yesterday meant we lost to Blackburn. With Ramos taking over from this morning, we have an FA Cup tie against Blackpool midweek – surely too soon for him to have sorted out the defensive frailties?

And with the new management team will surely come the January clearout – rumour has it Robbo is going, but can we hang onto Berbatov? and what about Defoe? both absolute stars (I personally think Keane would rather cut of his head than leave Spurs).

I know I’m not alone when I say I don’t want mid-table mediocrity – I want at least a top 5 finish, or even finish what Jol started so well and steer us into Champion’s League football.

    COYS!
