First blog of the year…and only the 5th 🙂

New year’s eve was a good one – started off badly though, I paid £20 for a ticket to the Priory centre in town to hear some band…they were ok(ish) but the bar was totally crap – 4 staff on, none of who had the first clue about bar work – it took 30 minutes to get served.

Lasted about an hour there, then I was given a wristband for entry to the Priory so I went there with Harriett and Rob. We lasted there for a while, then Harriett and me took a walk across the square to Shotz (dunno what happened to Rob at this point). We timed our arrival there perfectly – the doormen were to one side of the door for some reason, so we just walked straight in – no payment required 🙂 bonus!

After that it kinda got blurry – I got home about 3.30 or so, then got a text from Harriett asking me to text Rob and make sure he made it back to mine. That started an impromptu party of sorts.

Having house guests has been really good – I’m gonna miss Harriett when she moves into her house later this month. Maybe I’ll take in a lodger…preferably female 🙂 although they do fill up the bathroom with stuff…

That’ll do for now – I’m off out again – maybe summat will happen that’s blogworthy.
