why some days seem to go on and on and on and on…

You know the thing – you think you’ve been hard at work for hours and you glance at the clock to find 10 minutes have passed. Here’s how I explain it, using the BASIC programming language:

    10 start work

    20 for a =1 to 2 step 0

    30 next a

    40 end work

and THAT’s why some days go on for so long…

BTW: line 20 has a ‘step 0’ command – this means the count will NEVER get to 2

Ah, BASIC…when monitors came in 2 colours – green text on a black screen, and only one font and font size.

    *sigh*

When I first got into computers, the school had these:

    TRS80 Model II

My first home computer was an Acorn Atom:

    Acorn Atom

And yes – it was expanded to a massive 12k RAM and 12k ROM – those were the days…
