So today I decided to do a backup (code for doing absolutely nothing while moving files about on the network).

Of course, while all this is happening, I’m happily sitting drinking copious amounts of coffee and reading up on the BOFH.

10.15am and I’ve already eaten half my sandwiches…maybe I could find a quiet corner and have a nap…

All this BOFH reading has made me realise I’m too nice…so I installed the bluescreen screensaver on Corina’s machine and set it to come on after 1 minute .

Anyway, the boss has booked the flights to Dublin (good deal too – 2p return each…plus £20 taxes). I thought I’d better check up on what you can and can’t take as carry on luggage. Apparently you can take liquids now, but they have to be in a sealable clear plastic bag (no more than 1 litre capacity) and regarding the liquid type things, these are to be a maximum of 100ml each. Now, given that deodorant comes in 125ml cans…

I think I’ll just buy toothpaste and deodorant over there and leave it in the hotel – saves time and hassle.
