Just been over to Rik‘s blog (always good for an early morning skive read). He was reminiscing about the 80s and the parody songs we had back then.
This was (and still is) my personal favourite:

The thing is – although this was in the charts some 23 years ago, I STILL remember all the words, and will be humming/singing this to myself – hell, I’ll serenade Corina with it too, bound to make her send me home early 🙂 – all bloody day.

Another great show from the 80s was ‘The Young Ones’ – I remember this like it was yesterday. My mum always used to do the hoovering when this was on…at 9pm 😐

I loved Young Ones and had forgotten Rik Mayall was in it.
