Festival anthems
While engrossed in coding last night, I had Media Player playing loads of The Killers – those guys absolutely rock live!
So, what’s your best live track/artist and why?
Me – The Killers “All These Things I’ve done” – that’s gonna be my funeral song…every time I listen, it’s just me!

I was about 20 foot back from the stage, just right of middle 🙂

After the 2nd/3rd song, Flowers made the comment “Is it too early to say you’re better than Chelmsford?” (V festival is played at 2 venues – Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire – although Chelmsford is closer, I always go to Staffs., better layout, better security, better crowd of people, better time…can’t wait for next year 🙂 )

I think my most favorite Live track is the Live version of Shine (on you crazy diamond) by Pink Floyd. I absolutely LOVE the 17 minute introduction.
It reminds me of an old friend The Girl calls The Hippie. He is a guitar player and when we were room mates, I used to go in his room, sit at the foot of his bed, smoke many bowls with him and, watch him finger away at his guitar for hours. He used to play Shine for me and those are just really fucking good memories of me n tommysixpix.
Another friend I miss and am trying to find because The Girl wants to see him.
Live? We are a bit limited here what with the whole distance thing, but right up there on the list are: Muse (even though the dickhead drummer called us Adelaide), The Killers (at the Big Day Out), and Jet (they’re Australian, but go really well live)
