    Lovely spring morning out today…and that’s put me in a good mood 🙂 Well, the football results helped too – Spurs got 3 points for our win over Blackburn, and Sunderland did us a favour by holding Man City to a draw yesterday, so the table looks like this: 4th place is the coveted spot (in order to qualify for Champion’s League football next season) – and it’s strongly contested between Spurs, Man City, Liverpool, and Villa…we’ve got the goal difference over the other teams, City have a game in hand, and generally, there’s 9 games to play… Nice and […]

    What a game! What a result!     Wait, that’s not for a mainstream audience. Well, Spurs eventually got a draw yesterday, meaning we take Bolton back to the Lane for a reply. And what a dire game it was – Spurs didn’t seem to have even turned up in the first half – there was 5 minutes (after we’d conceded the goal), that we seemed to start playing…then everyone just went to sleep until the second half.     So, met up with my mate Gooner earlier for some snooker. Now, we used to play quite regularly, but the last couple of years it’s been sporadic – today was the first time I’ve played in about 9 months, so I was expecting to get my arse kicked… But wait…4-0 up and looking good – finally won 7-2 🙂 oh yes, a 3 hour snooker marathon…only thing is though, both of us got parking tickets ‘cos our tickets expired 😐 Spurs ended up drawing to Leeds in the FA Cup – return trip to Elland Road for us then…that last […]

    Spurs play Leeds tomorrow at 5.15 in the FA Cup 4th round – this is the Leeds that knocked Man Utd out last round, and the Spurs that are playing random football – great win one week, dropping points where we should be getting all 3 the next… Hopefully Lennon will be back pretty soon – his speed is dangerous to defences. After a terrible result at Anfield mid week, Spurs need a convincing win to get the spirits back up so we can carry on going for that champions League spot… Now I’ve bored you all with the football […]
