My generation (god I sound old putting that…) grew up with the ‘Green Cross Code‘ – basically, how to cross the road safely. We had the Green Cross Code Man:

What annoys me is people (and by far the majority is pensioners), who stand in the road on corners waiting to cross, meaning drivers have to swerve out to avoid crushing their bastard toes.

And it’s especially bad this time of year (shitmas), what with the herds of sheep out on the streets.

Bring back the Green Cross Code! I say…
