I had reason to use Photoshop today to edit some layouts for work. Now it’s been something like 17 years since I last used it (save for obtaining and installing a ‘dodgy’ copy for a friend), but all the skillz came flooding back within a few minutes 🙂

I’m still not sure whether I really like the program though – I KNOW it’s quality, but I seem to be able to do the same or very similar using the far simpler Paintshop Pro.

Of all the Adobe products I use (Illustrator, Acrobat Distiller and Dreamweaver when I absolutely have to) this one seems to have the most obscure keyboard shortcuts.

Whatever happened to the Aldus Freehand program?

EDIT: Aww 🙁 Freehand is no more – I found the Wikipedia article here. That’s sad – I loved that program. Definitely gonna try to find a copy somewhere now 🙂
